تناولت الدراسة مفهوم الذكاء المعزز، وهو ظاهرة جديدة نادرًا ما تُنُوولَت في الأدبيات حتى وقتنا الحاضر، والتي قد تكون مثيرة للاهتمام في مجالات العلوم الاجتماعية والإنسانية، كما تفتقر الدراسات لوجود تعريف واضح للذكاء المعزز بسبب تعقيد هذه الظاهرة وحداثتها في البحث العلمي، ومن ثم تهدف الدراسة إلى تحديد تأثير مفهوم الذكاء المعزز وما بعد الإنسانية على خدمات المكتبات، وتبيان أدوار الذكاء البشري اتجاه الذكاء المعزز، ثم تصف الدراسة المشكلات الأخلاقية الخاصة بتطبيق تقنيات الذكاء المعزز في المكتبات. واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي الاستكشافي مستخدمة استبيان للخبراء في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي والعاملين في بعض المكتبات العامة في مصر، كما أُعِدَّت قائمة مراجعة حول أخلاقيات الذكاء المعزز في المكتبات والتي تضمنت مجموعة من المعايير. ولقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها أن مشكلات التحيز قد احتلت المرتبة الأولى بين المشكلات الأخلاقية عند تطبيق الذكاء المعزز في المكتبات بنسبة 56٪، ثم يأتي في الترتيب الثاني مشكلات حماية البيانات بنسبة 30%. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة وضع السياسات واللوائح المتعلقة بأخلاقيات تطبيق الذكاء المعزز في المكتبات.
The study addressed the concept of augmented intelligence, a new phenomenon that has rarely been addressed in the literature to date, which may be interesting in the fields of social sciences and humanities. Studies also lack a clear definition of augmented intelligence due to the complexity of this phenomenon and its novelty in research. Therefore, the study aims to determine the impact of the concept of augmented intelligence and post-humanity (Transhumanism) on library services, and to clarify the roles of human intelligence towards augmented intelligence. Then, the study describes the ethical issues related to the application of augmented intelligence technologies in libraries. The study relied on the descriptive exploratory approach using a questionnaire for experts in the field of artificial intelligence and workers in some public libraries in Egypt. A checklist was also prepared on the ethics of augmented intelligence in libraries, which included a set of criteria. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which is that bias issues ranked first among the ethical issues when applying augmented intelligence in libraries at 56%, followed by data protection issues at 30%. The study recommended the need to develop policies and regulations related to the ethics of applying augmented intelligence in libraries.
